The short version

CastMane collects no personal data. There is nothing to opt out of, because there is nothing being collected.

The CastMane app

• No accounts, no sign-in. The app works fully offline.
• No analytics, no telemetry, no crash reports. Nothing leaves your computer — not usage statistics, not error reports, not anything else.
• No network connections. The app never connects to the internet, so it cannot send data anywhere even in theory.
• Your recordings stay yours. Video and audio files are saved only on your own disk (by default in ~/Videos/CastMane) and are never uploaded or shared by the app.

This website

• This site is a set of static pages. We set no cookies and run no analytics or tracking scripts.
• Search runs entirely in your browser. Your search queries never leave your device.
• The site is hosted on GitHub Pages. GitHub itself may keep standard server logs when you visit any page it hosts — that is governed by the GitHub Privacy Statement, not by us.
